Your Money · Paid Diagnostic

RevDNA™

Our proprietary Diagnostic Needs Assessment for the revenue cycle. A paid engagement, and the basis for everything that follows.

It establishes where revenue is leaking, quantifies what recovering it is worth, and hands you an Economic Case you can take to your board — whether or not you ever engage us again.

Why Pay for a Diagnostic

The Snapshot tells you where to look. RevDNA tells you what it is worth.

Most revenue cycle leaders can name the symptoms: denials that keep coming back, balances that age past the point anyone works them, contracts that pay less than they say, statements patients do not understand. What they rarely have is one number across all of it — what the leakage costs, what recovering it is worth, and which fix pays for the next one.

RevDNA produces that number from your remittance data, your payer contracts and your workflow, not from an industry average. It is paid because it is the product: a proprietary diagnostic whose output is yours to keep, and to act on with anyone you choose. The ecosystem that follows is a separate decision with a separate price, and the diagnostic exists so that you can make that decision well.

What We Examine

Every seam in the cycle, from first claim to final dollar.

Front-end accuracy

Eligibility, authorization and registration: the claims that fail before anyone works them.

Denials and appeals

Initial and final denial rates by cause and by payer, and the gap between the two.

Underpayments and contract variance

Expected against actual reimbursement, by payer and by contract term.

Legacy and aged balances

What a system conversion stranded, and what is timing out unworked.

Coding, documentation and revenue integrity

Charge capture, clinical documentation and credentialing — getting paid what the contract actually says.

Cost to collect and the patient experience

What each dollar costs to bring in, and why the statement goes unpaid.

How It Runs

Two stages of the Nero Method, on your numbers.

Dissect. We take the operation apart: a data pull and a line-by-line review of how a claim moves from scheduling to zero balance — not how the org chart says it moves. What you provide: remittance and claims data, your payer contracts, and access to the reporting you already have. What you get: a factual map of the current state, seam by seam.

Discover. We surface the gaps and size them — against your contracts and your payer mix, not an industry average. What you get: the five deliverables below.

Who takes part. The revenue cycle leader, finance, and whoever owns the data. Your billing staff and your billing system stay in place.

The Honest Part

We don’t begin by replacing what already works.

Not your broker of record. Not your EHR or your practice management system. Not your billing staff. Not your TPA, your payroll platform, or the benefits administration system you spent two years implementing.

Sometimes the diagnostic finds that one of those is the problem. When it does, we say so, and we show the math. But we don’t start there, because starting there is how advisory relationships turn into procurement fights — and because most of the money we find is not in the systems you’ve already scrutinized. It’s in the space between them, which nobody owns.

What You Receive

Five deliverables. The Economic Case is the one you will use most.

  • Opportunity MapWhere the money is, ranked.
  • Priority ActionsWhat to do first, and why that one.
  • Solution ArchitectureWhich capabilities close which gaps.
  • Economic CaseWhat it's worth, with the assumptions written down where you can argue with them.
  • Implementation RoadmapSequence, dependencies, and who does what.

The Economic Case is the baseline. Every result that follows is measured against it, on Trust the Data, so that what the ecosystem produces can be audited rather than asserted. It is written for a board, in your numbers, and it is yours whatever you decide next.

If You Also Bear Risk

When you own the premium and the claim, a revenue decision is a workforce decision.

An organization that delivers care and bears risk runs BenDNA as well, with provider and plan stakeholders both at the table. There is no third combined diagnostic. BenDNA · How a Payvider engagement works

Where It Starts
  • H.E.R.O. Revenue Cycle Snapshotno costShows where your revenue cycle is most exposed.
  • RevDNAOur proprietary Diagnostic Needs Assessment. Surfaces the specific gaps in your operations and produces the Economic Case our ecosystems are built against.

Two Ways In

Start small, or start here.

If you would rather begin with something small, the H.E.R.O. Revenue Cycle Snapshot takes about fifteen minutes and costs nothing. It shows where your revenue cycle is most exposed, and it means our first conversation starts from something real.

If you already know you need the diagnostic, skip it. Tell us about your organization and we will scope RevDNA directly.
